Project Beneficiaries: 951 HHs (422 FHH and 529 MHH with a total population of 4,614 (2264 Female and 2350 Male)
Main government partners: Department of Finance and Economic Cooperation; Department of Women, Children and Youth Affairs; Department of Food Security and Disaster Risk Reduction; and Kombolcha city administration.
Project objective: Contribute to government’s efforts to alleviate suffering of conflict affected IDPs in Northern part of Ethiopia
Key Achievements:
- The sufferings of 4,614 people who are internally displaced alleviated through provision of food and non-food items.
- Acute malnutrition and shortage of NFI and sanitary materials of affected IDPs settled in 8 IDP centres/Schools of Kombolcha city is reduced
